Who is Alaa Shoier?
Alaa Shoier was born on October 15, 1992, in Cairo, Egypt. The 28-year-old actor has appeared in TV series, web series, and Ad commercials too. Alaa was passionate about acting and films from a very young age. He always participated in the school play’s winning several awards related to theatre and cultural activities.
Alaa loved being in a time where all the eyes were on him, and he could express himself as freely as possible. Growing up, Alaa graduated from American College in Greece with a degree BA in Media. He always tried to be more practical in media and entertainment and started networking with prominent figures in the Egyptian film industry.
He has also completed his Master’s degree in Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media from American University in Dubai. Studying in the media and entertainment field, he learned how to confidently face the camera and the fundamentals of the film industry.
Before starting his career, he took more than seven acting workshops internationally, conducted in UK, UAE, US, Greece, and Egypt. Traveling to these countries and meeting people with different perspectives in the film industry helped him have a distinct vision. Although he has studied and learned a lot about filmmaking and acting, he believes learning will never stop.
His initial career was not a cakewalk for him. But he is fortunate enough that the first scene of his career also featured few legendary actors who have been part of more than Egyptian 600 movies. He feels humbled to be a part of the Egyptian film industry, considered Hollywood and Bollywood and Nollywood of the Arab world.
Alaa Shoier was a part of the blockbuster TV series “Nesr El Saeed”, which gave him a massive boost in his acting career. The TV series is one of the initial milestones in his career. Alaa got an opportunity to work with the Egyptian superstar Mohammed Ramadan, who has a massive fan base all around the middle East. This series indeed introduced Alaa Shoier as an actor to a wide range of audiences.
Along with movies, Alaa acted in few TV and web series. He was a part of Khat Sakhen(2018), which also featured Syrian Superstar Sulaf Fawakherjit. Alaa Shoier was critically appreciated for his performance and delivery office dialogues in the series. Currently, he is working on a few upcoming projects, namely a project call 9th Street, a new TV series.
Along with his acting skills, he is an absolute charmer and is famously known as the Brad Pitt of Egypt. Like Brad Pitt and Tom Hardy, he is working to be one of the world’s most versatile actors.
