Kyle Elliott is an 18 year old entrepreneur and social media specialist. He rose to fame on Tik Tok in early 2020 when partnering with Business Blurb, one of the fastest growing entrepreneurial media companies. Elliott began posting on Business Blurb’s platform and later went on to build his personal brand on Tik Tok. The young influencer went viral numerous times for his entertaining short-form business videos.
I wanted to dive deeper into Kyle’s success on the platform:
Cox: What sparked your interest in becoming an influencer?
Elliott: Being an Influencer is intriguing to me for a few different reasons. Impacting lives is a big one, whether that’s providing education not taught in schools, motivation, or entertainment. The fact that I am touching people in different ways is fulfilling; also, having a credible social media presence/personal brand is huge in the entrepreneurial space, so that’s very helpful.
Cox: Who is your audience?
Elliott: My audience consists of people of all ages who are interested in money, how to make it, and how other people make it. I’ve had people as young as nine hit me up, to people in their fifties, people who know nothing about money, to people who know a lot about money. I have a very diverse following.
Cox: What’s your absolute favorite thing about being an influencer in 2021?
Elliott: The opportunities in 2021 to grow on social media as an influencer are endless, kids still in school are making more money than their parents ever will, the business potential is huge; but, my favorite thing about being an influencer, is being able to leverage my personal brand in different ways, while also being able to do it from anywhere in the world.
Cox: Do you have a dream collaboration? If so, who is it?
Elliott: I’ve never really put a ton of thought into collaborations. But if a had a dream collaboration, it would be either Gary Vaynerchuk or Mark Cuban.
Cox: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Elliott: I don’t know where I’ll be in 6 months, much less, 5 years. But by that time I’ll be 23, and I’d hope to have enough residual income to cover my expenses for the rest of my life, developing my own business(s), and helping others do the same.
Cox: If you could give any piece of advice to an aspiring influencer, what would it be?
Elliott: Don’t let your view/follower count drive you, there will be ups and downs in your growth, so stick to content that you enjoy making regardless of how much others enjoy it.
