Sheikh Asif, a school dropout from Kashmir’s Batamaloo is an Entrepreneur CEO & Founder of a UK-based Information Technology (IT) company (Thames Infotech), is making IT Awarness among Kashmiri youth and giving on the online classes to them in digital marketing.
Talking with Media , Sheikh said that subsequent to exiting school in 2008, he worked with some nearby IT companies for around six years however it was his excursion to the UK which made a huge difference for him.
“I got an opportunity to visit the UK in the year 2016, where I met a software engineer of Google Mr Hamzha Saleem who support me to set up a website design company and today I am author and CEO / Founder of a website design company situated in Manchester,” he said.
In the year 2018, Asif began online classes for the students interested in web design , Digital Marketing thus far he has prepared around 700+ youth in digital marketing .
“I built up a website KOSHURBUSINESS.COM which permits the local businesses to advance business on the website, liberated from cost,” he said, adding that so far he has won around 26+ awards other than and have been selected for some lofty honors which got postponed because of Covid-19 pandemic.
Asif said that he has opened an office of his company in Srinagar in Nowgam territory too and at present 25 people in UK and 07 in Srinagar are as of now working in the company.
Besides being a CEO / Founder of the Thames Infotech, Sheikh Asif is a professional web designer/ developer, graphics designer, digital marketer and author. Asif says he has written two books namely Digitization in Business and Online Business Ideas which according to him, can prove beneficial to anyone in starting their business and improving existing business.
Nayeem Ahmad, cousin of sheikh asif , told the media that Asif has always been a laborious and talented boy.”He struggled a lot in life but I know him as a determined guy from the beginning,” Mr Nayeem Said.
Message from Sheikh Asif to Youth. “Youth’s shouldn’t burn through their time in purposeless activities, there are many opportunities in the IT area where they can acquire their occupation effectively,” he said.
